flag day! DAMN EXHAUSTING! lol. me and yy worked our butts off. not like hw who went off to makan! zzZzzz. we [me, yy, ling, eelyn, janice, sijia... anymore?]decided to head off to city hall! then we split up and me and yy went to the exit who was near funan it mall.there was this nice aunty who was giving out flyers, and she talked to yy and asked her wad sch she's from etc! haha. and she talked to quite a lot of ppl who came out of the exit, like,' oh hello i see u again!', 'how come i didnt see u ytd?' or 'hey i saw ur friend there just now!' etc -in chinese-, duh! with my not-so-greaat inference skills i infer that she goes there everyday to give out flyers haha. at one point when i was feeling particularly pathetic and sweaty she asked me to go under the shade! hahaha. but of cus i didnt cus we arent allowed to ask for donations in tt area.

and there were of cus those parents with their oh so cute children. there was one boy who was so cute wtih nice pudgy cheeks which made me wanna pinch them oh so much! haha. then his mum was like, go on take one [sticker]! then he paused, thought about it, and took one! haha. and he waved and said 'bye bye' to me when they went off! haha , awwww.and another adorable kid who stuck out his hand for yy to paste the sticker on when she asked him if he wanted one, after he donated. heh.

abt 1030 another organisation came and set up at the city hall exit where we were! so we were like panicking tt they will steal our ' customers' but the other students all went off cus, erm, we are strong competitors? haha wtr. the ic was quite nice! she's about our age, [uppersec/ jc bahss] and came to ask me how long had we asked for donations etc etc cus i guess she was worried tt there wunt be enough funds collected for the pocket money fund bah. then after like mayb twenty minutes she came to donate! so nice. haha. and after about half an hr again she asked us if our bags are very heavy and tt we can put our bags at the station where they were sitting, waiting for the students to collect their tins/return tins, haha but we politely declined, since our bags arent heavy. we wanted to donate before we leave, but we didnt have any lose change so we just, erm went off. lol. and we saw a couple of rj girls early in the morn at abt 9? and one of them was like, 'eh, raffles leh, help a bit lah', and so she donated.

and we saw mr kenneath tan. haha and he saw us too.

in the end i only gt 1 3/5 sheets of stickers distributed and half tin filled. yy kept on going on abt sad it is tt she cant change tt ten bucks note someone donated to ten cent coins, if nt she cld have already filled up the tin and go home. hahhahahaha. too bad!
when yy and i reached somerset we felt quite accomplished cus our tins were quite heavy as compared to some. (: hahahahahahha.went to eat subway with yy and yiusum! sad, hw decided not to go with us at the last moment! awwwwww. on our way there, we got a free
starbucks sample abt a min after hw left! AWWW. damn nice with lots of whipping cream, for a sample.
subway was nice, gt meatballs.

went to the esplanade to get the vcd after tt! and we managed to find the disc! wah felt damn accomplished, rather unfortunately we cant borrow the disc as we have to be members of the lib to borrow. but yy said tt she will go and ask her mum if she's allowed to become a member, since she visit the lib regularly. THERE'S HOPE STILLLLLLLL.
and the lib is the coolest. nice comfy black sofas, quiet serene environment [the section with the dance videos/ books, FREAKIN COOOOOOOOOL. and there's even a piano practice area. someone was praccing when we walked around. hahawent to the roof terence after tt! (: [cos i wanted to] took a photo but it didnt turn out tt well. haha namely cus yy decided not to be in it, and i was squinting [my eyes are already small enough =( ] cus of the blazing sun. lol.

made our way to far east after tt! lol. i bought a white medium thick hairband and a pair of cute white/red danglies[think sg] for 2 bucks each! (:went to some areas tt i had nva been before. hahaha. (:yy bought a nice army belt for 5 bucks which i liked a lot!there was this cybergaming contest/compeition going on at far east and
it started off with a great bang, [literally]. it was so freaky okayyyyyyy!!!! there was lots and lots of gun shots, which practically blasted my ear drums. i freaked out. so did yy. i mean, honestly!!! so there was this series of gun shots and then fireworks/sparks, then gun shots, more fireworks, and then someone' or mayb a fake mannequin in
black, masked, slided down frm the top level to the bottom. if not for the fireworks plus the crowd of ppl gathering around the barriers/fence? [opps i dunno wad its called! =( someone tell me!] on the second third floors, i wld have thot it was a terrorist attack. 0-
