fireworks fireworks dont u love them fireworks?

i guess it's the ndp preview today, and around 8 plus there was suddenly this loud consecutive bomming, and my sis was lke 'eh jiahui, gt fireworks eh!'

as usual they were lovely. for the past yrs, i have never been able to see them properly from my house - just loads of loud bomming and mayb 1/4 of the bigger fireworks. Today i managed to see about 1/2 -3/4 of the fireworks!!! they were just simply loveeelyyy. i feel happy just looking at them, really i do. if only i was there to experience it all.

there were the green and red ones which were like little stars, and my personal favourite, golden fireworks which were like many lil streaks in the dark night sky, gradually fading off. it kind of resembled needle like raindrops, to me at least. and ooh, tiny lil fireworks which appeared at the same time which were very cute next to the big ones! this is the first time i saw them tiny ones! :D pardon my lack of general knowledge, i dont really know the names of them all heh.
i decided to whip out my phone after i saw the tiny ones, but the fireworks stopped. WHY OH WHY!!! they would have made a lovely wallpaper. T_T

i just realised tt it was such a long time ago since i went to ndp! when i was in pri sch, my family went every year except for pri60---0
and even when we didnt go to the ndp we would go my grandma's house at ubi where there was a much better view[it's always better to live on a higher floor], and when it was around 8plus my aunt would bring us[me and my cousins] to some overhead bridge where there's a much clearer view. and the overhead bridge would always have other neighbours with their children watching the fireworks with us. it has been such a long time!
ahh the typical life of us common folk.
