saturday!

shall blog briefly. met ling at 220 on the train! (: went for lunch..... and then headed off to taka! and nice ling treated me to icecream there! i forgt wad's the brand, but it's tt italian icecream! jasmine are u reading this! do u feel sad tt u missed out on the treat? haha

anw we gt three flavours, cookies and cream, dark choc and butterscotch! butterscotch is the best! get it next time. or get the sample ;)

toy fair! haha. i saw miru miru figurines!!!!! (: but so sad no $. oh wells.ling volunteered to buy it for me initially... BUT then she realised she was buying it for me. -_- and i thot she was so nice. haha but oh wells.and we gt a good deal for the x and oh wells. turns out tt this deal is also available at carrefour. haha.

okay i am too lazy to blog abt the rest of saturday. haha =X

sunday/spca!

too lazy to drag myself out of bed in the morn to go to pop fair, so met ling at one at spca bus stop instead!

i cant really say i am a true animal lover, i definitely dont dare to get up and close with the animals,you know, i am just a little shy and needs a little warming up to (: . but anyway,we headed off to the viewing areas! haha i was mean to ling thruout cus i made her ask everything. =X opps!

anw, apparently u can go into the cage and pet and stroke the animals. they definitely need affection!!! passed the dogs -life's just unfair- there's tt cute lil breed dog with nice shaggy hair and all, gt adopted rather quickly. sad sad sad.

went off to the small animals section-rabbits hamsters guinea pigs. the rabbits are horribly cute! there's these cute bunnies-one grey one black. the grey one is just awfully sweet looking and lets u pet it while it's stuffing itself while the black one just stays still, like a bundle of fur. and there's one terribly frightened sandy rabbit. it jsuttrembled and all when ling petted it gently and it jumped out of the cage and being an idiot i shrieked, like -_-. anw ling carried it back into its cage, but u can tell it's still pretty shaken up and all.

and hamster so cute. and i pointed out a squashed baby hamster on the floor to ling. it's just so gross. a pink lifeless baby hamster squashed- as if it's just a piece of chewing gum. GROSSNESS. =( i miss all my baby hamsters.

oh before i forget. guinea pigs! one particularly cute one which stuck its head of it's little erm cosy corner and went back in.haha

cat's play area. i am a scaredy cat. attempted to pet the cats but i dont think they liked my touch hahaha. =X there's this lil girl abt 8 yrs [ling the friendly psl asked her and blah] who was petting the cats and carrying them around and stuff, if i didnt know better i would have thought she's a regular at spca, but apparently it's her first visit here. she was really open with them and dared to pet them all even though some cats looked particularly unfriendly like, TOUCH ME OR U WILL BE SCRATCHED and stuff but she just petted them and played with them and stuff! then there's this cat which particularly enjoyed sitting in front of the door- ppl cant enter. so ling who wasnt tt brave enough to just carry them away asked the girl to help, who happily obliged.

at one point a golden retriever ran out of the cage door and all the dogs BARKED LIKE CRAZY. i wonder if they are just sad tt their old friend are leaving them, or happy tt their neighbour regained its freedom........ have a new home. but sadly, the ic carried a really sad looking dog back into it's cage. the golden retrievers are so adorable... =( and there's this really cute and waggy and sad looking dog which ling favours over the rest. and it has a really !!! neighbour called taka. which freaked the hell out of me. =X opps.

before we left we went to the reception area to get some souvenirs and stuff. i gt a poster with 101 pics of animals which were adopted and a notepad. ling gt a poster with a kitten/teddy bear and notepad. yeah. and while we were in there there's this family which is abandoning its dog at spca. SO SAD. =( THE DOG IS ENTIRELY LOVEABLE REALLY REALLY! and there's this sicko girl of like ten? who is so abusing it okay. like she's insulting it calling it stuff like useless dog, and like dunno doing what with it! like 0-----------0.

altho i am sad tt the dog dun have a home anymore.. but i am glad its leaving them.
